This beautiful log chalet is located just a few minutes walk to the ski lifts of Fernie Alpine Resort with ski to the door convenience. Dog friendly, log beds, pine floor, and wood-burning fireplace add to the charm of our Black Bear Chalet.

The Black Bear Chalet is ideal for large families or groups who love to cook and socialize around our large kitchen table, built by one of the owners. Large decks off the kitchen and great room, a propane barbecue, and a commercial hot tub aid to the enjoyment of the secluded property. A fire pit overlooks the lake at the back of the property, giving you a back to nature feel. It truly is a little piece of Canadian paradise. 

The property has a basement suite, occupied by a long term tenant. The main chalet and basement suite have separate entrances to ensure privacy for our chalet guests. The basement tenant does not have access to the hot tub.
