FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A 30% deposit is required to secure the reservation. If booking 30 days before arrival or sooner the total amount is due.
Fernie Central Reservations will email you a link to our encrypted online electronic property waiver. Your signature will be sent electronically. Please complete the waiver and include a photo of your driver’s license to verify you are 25 years of age or older. Some of our premier properties require a minimum age of 30 to rent.
30 days before you check in, we will process the final payment.
Two days before arrival, you will be sent the check-in information which includes Google maps, restaurant information and all the things you need to have a great time in Fernie. During your stay, we always have a Fernie agent on call 24/7 for any emergency. Daily housekeeping is not provided and each property has a housecleaning charge.
All properties (except 1 or 2 of them) have full kitchens, microwaves, coffee makers and dishwashers. All units are fully stocked with cutlery, utensils, plates, bowls, pots, pans and pretty much anything you need for your whole group for any celebration. We also supply you with garbage bags, soaps for the bathroom and kitchen. Fernie’s delicious Rooftop Roasters Coffee is supplied to get you started on your trip. Inventory varies from one property to the next, so please contact our agent if you have specific questions.
2 days before you arrive, we will send you the check in information. All properties have a contactless check in process. You will go directly to the property and get the keys from a lockbox right outside the door’s entrance. You can check in anytime after 4pm.
Check out is 10:00 am. Please start the dishwasher and empty all contents of the refrigerator. All garbage and recycling must be taken out. Detailed instructions will be included in your Check-In Package.
30 days outside of your arrival will result in a full refund. 30 – 8 days before arrival, a full credit that can be used at any of our properties and will expire within 1 year. 7 days or less before arrival, no refund will occur. You will be responsible for any damages that occur during your stay.
We always have a local Fernie Agent on call 24/7 just in case there is a hiccup during your stay. We can also answer any question via a dedicated text number, from a real person, 8 am – 8pm, 7 days a week.
Unfortunately, no we do not. We have a strict “quiet time” and we need to respect the local residents.
So far, Black Diamond Chalet and Tamarak are the only properties that have an E/V charger. Here is a link for local E/V charging stations from TOURISM FERNIE.

All properties are equipped with Wifi. Instructions will be available at your condo when you check in.
